Investment digest of the Republic of Tatarstan: “investment hour” with the city of Kazan
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin reported on the implementation of measures to ensure sustainable socio-economic development within the framework of the republican meeting chaired by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Such meetings are held on a weekly basis in the Government House of the Republic. The report of the head of the district examines the main indicators of the district's activity, the development of industries, the state of entrepreneurship, the level of wages and unemployment, the pace of construction of social infrastructure and housing, education, and achievements in a variety of areas.
The dynamic development of the capital of Tatarstan is the result of investments attracted into the city’s economy. At the end of the year, they are projected to increase to 335 billion rubles. This is 46.5 billion rubles more than in 2022.
The municipality provides comprehensive assistance in the implementation of investment projects.
30 projects are included in the Investment Memorandum of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023. This, in particular, is the construction of a multifunctional complex with a congress center on Sibgata Hakim Street by Kravt Yar Park LLC (investment volume - 28.9 billion rubles, number of jobs created - 180), as well as the construction of the Fizra Sports Center in the residential complex “Salavat Kuper” (investment volume – 233.9 million rubles, number of jobs created – 20).
Kazan also approved a design project for the city cable car.
The area of the Aerobridge will be 24.5 hectares and its length will be 2,854.86 meters. The cable car will have three stations: at Gorky Park, the URAM extreme park and at the site next to the Ak Bars Arena stadium. Between the first and second stations the distance will be 1.2 kilometers, between the second and third - 1.7 kilometers. The route will pass through Gorky Park and the Vishnevsky interchange.
Passengers will be able to travel along the cable car at a speed of 6 m/sec, and the entire journey will take 10 minutes 12 seconds.
