On December 21, employees of the promotion department of the AIR RT visited the opening of the M-12 highway “Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod – Kazan”. The builders confirm that the track, built in record time, meets the most modern safety and environmental requirements. The economic effect from the construction of the M-12 highway in Tatarstan was estimated at 146 billion rubles. At the same time, the macroeconomic effect as a result of road construction is estimated at 2.4 trillion rubles. According to forecasts, after the opening of the M-12 “East” highway in Tatarstan, Kazan could receive an additional million tourists.
Talia Minullina: “M12 is not just a new road, it is a reference point for Russian industry - Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan - Yekaterinburg - Chelyabinsk. The main thing is the movement to the East, which was talked about a lot before, but now the time has come to implement these plans. For Tatarstan, through which the M12 goes, this is also a new stage, a new challenge, a new impetus for investment development.”
At this time, a meeting of the working group was held at the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan to discuss the planned tourism project in the Kama estuary. The Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan also visited the Plenipotentiary Minister of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation, Liu Xuesong, on a business visit. She was given a presentation of the investment potential of the Republic at the Agency’s Unified Presentation Center, after which she met with the head of the Tatarstan Agency for Investment Development, Taliya Minullina.
