Tatarstan is the most attractive Russian region for investors
Tatarstan was ranked the first in the media-ranking of investment attractiveness of the regions of the Russian Federation, arranged by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and company «Medialogia».
The republic became a leader also thanks to the creation of action plan by the Russian Central Bank and Tatarstan Government on Islamic banking implementation in Russia as an alternative to traditional banking financial methods, operating with an observance of the Islamic economic principles.
Crimea and the Primorye Territory were placed the second and the third in the ranking. Chelyabinsk and Tula regions entered the top five as well. Russian regions’ places allocation in the media-ranking is connected with large events and initiatives, dedicated to improvement of the investment and business climate, made in the regions in the middle of the spring.
Media-ranking on investment attractiveness of the regions emerged as an information product in the framework of National ranking on investment climate in the subjects of the Russian Federation and reflects its factors and majority of indicators.
