Taliya Minullina motivated Tatars all over the world to invest in the republic
On August 4, the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina presented investment potential to the delegates of the 6th Session of the World Congress of Tatars.
In her address, Taliya Minullina noted that Tatarstan is the first in the rating of the investment climate for the third consecutive year and also the leader in business hospitality among Russian regions. She stated that the largest investors in capital are representatives of Turkey, Germany, the USA, France. Thus, Ford company invested more than 500 million dollars in its production on the territory of the republic, Turkish company Kastamonu invested approximately the same sum.
The CEO of the Agency gave the results of the research on the impact of Tatar diaspora on the level of investment from different countries: according to data, a small number of Tatars live in the largest countries-investors, compared to other countries.
"The countries with not so numerous Tatar diaspora invest a lot. For example, Germany with 2 thousands of Tatars and the USA with 4 thousands. The situation is different in the countries with the most numerous Tatar diaspora. This are Uzbekistan (318 thousands of Tatars), Kazakhstan (280 thousands of Tatars). Currently, these countries are not our largest investors, we have no joint projects with them", - Taliya Minullina encouraged delegates to be more active and take part in investment projects.
During the event, the delegates of the Session can visit the exhibition of industrial, touristic, sports and educational potential of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the exhibition, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency represents the upcoming anniversary of International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit" and invites to take part in it, as well as to inform potential partners of the event all over the world.
"Tatarstan encourages close cooperation with diaspora: these are regular meetings in foreign business-trips with the President and the members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, providing our compatriots with literature in the Tatar language, posting relevant material in the information space. We are working to use this channel of communication to attract investors to Tatarstan", the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina stated.

From August 2 to 6, the 6th Session of the World Congress of Tatars took place in Kazan. It was expected more than 1000 delegates and guests from 73 entities of the Russian Federation and 41 countries of near and far abroad and 130 journalists to participate in the session.
It is noteworthy that the 6th Session of WCT is held in the year of the twenty-fifth anniversary of establishment of World congress of Tatars. As is well known, is was convened by a decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in June 1992 and convoked every five years thereafter.
Currently, the Interregional public organization "World congress of Tatars" unites 476 Tatar public organizations from 68 Russian regions (including the Republic of Tatarstan), countries of near and far abroad.
