Korean Descent in Tatarstan
From 27 to 28 June 2016, South Korean delegation, chaired by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation Park Ro-byug, came to Tatarstan with a reciprocal visit after recent trip of Tatarstan representatives headed by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnihanov.
29 different representatives, including, in general, entrepreneurs and directors general of the largest Korean companies in the field of automotive manufacturing, industry and banking, perform as members of South Korean delegation accompanying the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation.
Korean delegation has a very heavy intense program. Visiting of the leading republican technoparks in the sphere of high technologies IT-Park and Innopolis, a roundtable discussion with participation of Tatarstan and Korean companies in republic’s Chamber of commerce and industry, B2B meetings, business lunches, entertainment program in Kazan Kremlin and Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda attending as well as the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic are among the planned events.
«Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation dynamically develop cooperation in all directions, including policy, economy, culture and etc. since establishment of diplomatic relations has been established in 1990» — noted the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation Park Ro-byug. «Turnover volume between our countries has reduced significantly because of geopolitical situation in comparison with the last year indicators. Despite of this, the Korean Embassy to the Russian Federation makes efforts, targeted at economic cooperation’s practical implementation between two countries».
