Japan is committed to working with Tatarstan in agriculture and medicine

In the framework of the official visit of Tatarstani delegation to Japan, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency reached agreement on cooperation with Japanese companies in the spheres of healthcare and agriculture.

The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina participated in the events and business meetings in Tokio. The delegation was headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

In particular, ZEN-NOH company bringing together 1012 agricultural cooperatives in Japan is interested in joint work with Tatarstan. Company’s annual turnover is 44 billion dollars.

The company buys food products and goods for the Japanese agricultural sector worldwide. ZEN-NOH imports carbamide and potassium chloride from Russia. In addition to agricultural sector, the company is working in the petroleum and gas purchase segments. The company’s offices are located in all prefectures of Japan.

Japanese company «Tokushukai Medical Group» also offered cooperation to Tatarstan’s companies. The company owns and manages the network of health facilities in the country such as hospitals, clinics, center of home care, health services for the elderly, as well as nursing homes. Tokushukai Medical Group develops a network of modern health centers in rural areas, and also uses the latest approaches in the treatment of oncological diseases.

Taliya Minullina also presented investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Japanese entrepreneurs during the business forum «Tatarstan — Japan». The work on new projects will be continued with potential Japanese investors who showed their interest in Russian market and came to the forum of Tatarstan as an advanced region with strong investment climate.
