It's time to invest in Tatarstan!

For many years, Tatarstan cooperates with Hungarian partners. These relations are based in historical background. In particular, emerging of close, kinship ties of Hungarian and Tatar ancestors started the middle of the first millennium A.D. and in times of Great Bulgaria. Furthermore, experts are of the opinion that it were ancestors of Hungarians who founded Tetyushskoye settlement in VI-VII century.

The contacts are continuing at the current stage. After the collapse of the Soviet Union it was Hungary who became an example for Tatarstan of the way of developing the market economy and agricultural sector. In 1993, the President of Hungary Arpad Goncz was the first among the heads of foreign states to visit the Republic of Tatarstan. One of the first intergovernmental agreements on trade and economic cooperation of Tatarstan was also signed with Hungary.
