Tatarstan Investment Development Agency created "Investment Guide to Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan". The Guide is a study containing detailed information about the current state of the agro-industrial complex of the region and the prospects for its development.

The Republic of Tatarstan is among the most developed regions of Russia and takes a leading position in the rating of economically attractive regions of the country. The key industry in the region is the agro-industrial complex. The republic has a high potential of labor force in the agricultural sector, poorly dependent on imports and has the ability to increase exports of agricultural products, which is an attractive factor for investors and meets the task of the industry to increase exports. The government of the region actively supports the agricultural sector, which is reflected in the program of technical re-equipment, providing annual allocation of the budget for reimbursement of some of the costs for equipment. Today, the availability of equipment in Tatarstan is significantly higher than the average in Russia.
