In Kazan, Turkish business community discussed the development of automotive industry
Turkey is one of Tatarstan's leading partners in the sphere of trade and economic cooperation. Three Turkish enterprises are working successfully in Tatarstan. A number of joint projects in the sphere of energy, engineering, health-care, agriculture is being developed.
Thus, on March 29, Turkish delegation led by the Director General of "Turkuaz Textile" company Atilla Sukru Zeybekci paid a one-day visit to Tatarstan.
At the meeting with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the representatives of Turkish delegation discussed the issues of further cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.
The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina also took part in the meeting.
International Automotive Forum was held in Kazan
The Turkish delegation also took part in the 3rd International Automotive Forum "TIAF supported by Automechanika” which took place at the "Kazan Fair" Exhibition Center.
The CEO of the Association of European Businesses Frank Schauff, the President of PJSC "AVTOVAZ" Nicolas Maure, representatives of the leading foreign companies took part in the meeting.
Then Turkish business community met with the Director General of PJSC "AVTOVAZ" Nicolas Maure, where options for collaboration with Russian automobile company were discussed.
The TIAF forum is of particular importance to Tatarstan. Traditionally, the republic is a region with developed automotive industry. Such factories as "KAMAZ", "Ford Sollers", a large number of companies producing auto components are operating on the territory of Tatarstan.
"Due to the efforts of the leaders of Tatarstan and event planners, TIAF became an effective site for cooperation of automobile manufacturers, experts, industrial organizations, federal and regional executive authorities.
The automotive industry is one of the most important sectors of the country's economy. The government pays particular attention to these issues. "This year we will continue the existing support measures for the domestic automotive industry," - Taliya Minullina assured.
The Turkish delegation got acquainted with the exposition, where new models of Russian and foreign vehicles producers, current developments in such areas as raw materials and equipment for the production of automotive components, joints and parts, after sales services were presented.
The guests from Turkey also visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where the operating exposition of achievements of the republic in the sphere of investment was presented.
