Green light for the Chinese companies
Today, Kazan hosts the Second meeting of the Russian-Chinese subcommittee on cooperation in the field of industry chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov and his Chinese colleague — Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China Miao Wei.
Taliya Minullina, the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, presented the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan to the participants of the meeting, shared the positive dynamics of trade between China and Tatarstan and introduced the investment portal also available in Chinese.
A number of agreements was signed during the meeting. Thus, Haier company signed an agreement on the construction of industrial park in Naberezhnye Chelny. The important strategic document was signed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Mnnikhanov, the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Maganov and the Director General of «Haier Electrical Appliances» LLC Wan Shouzhun.
«The establishment of the industrial park in Naberezhnye Chelny will attract new Chinese companies in Tatarstan which will be able to act as counterparts for Haier. First of all these are new jobs, infrastructural infusions and opportunities for cooperation» — Taliya Minullina commented.
The Chinese Minister, in his turn, expressed confidence that other companies will follow the example of Haier company: «I believe, more and more Chinese companies will come to Tatarstan following Haier company and will develop their activities in the territory».
