Following the governmental visit to China, "Huawei" company has consolidated its position in Tatarstan
Today, on November 16, in the frames of the second day of visit to China, Tatarstan’s delegation went to Shenzhen. The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina is among the first persons of the delegation.
First of all, members of Tatarstan’s Government met with the leadership of Chinese IT-company "PAX Technology". Jack Lu appreciated the experience of Tatarstan in supporting innovative companies and promoting the development of partnership relations between Tatarstani and Chinese IT enterprises.
“After our visit to Kazan, we continued our communication with "DLS" company”. After a detailed analysis, we have seen the great potential of their new SwitchSales service and are interested in cooperation,” - the Head of the company Mr. Jack Lu noted. Then, a cooperation agreement was signed between "PAX Technology" and "DLS" Company. As agreed, "PAX Technology" will promote the SwitchSales system in the international market.
Then Tatarstan’s delegation went to the exhibition center of Shenzhen to traditionally take part in the Chinese exhibition of high technologies. The exhibition is held to demonstrate and promote Chinese and foreign advanced achievements, application of innovations and high-tech developments, motivation of technological transactions, expansion of cooperation for growth and stimulation of innovations.
The main component of a comfortable life of citizens of any country is safety. Thus, the delegation of Tatarstan got acquainted with Huawei Company’s latest security solutions. Members of the Government visited the police station in Shenzhen, at which the “smart police” project is being implemented. The Huawei developed a high-tech centre, where cloud applications are widely used to enhance public safety and traffic management. Over 53,000 different cameras record the video information and 5,000 cameras have the function of face recognition, another 1,200 devices recognize license plates. Videos are used for evidence in 85 per cent of cases.
This day marked the expansion of cooperation with "Huawei" company. At the headquarters of the "Huawei", the signing of a memorandum on cooperation for the opening of Huawei research centre in the Republic of Tatarstan was held. In addition, a memorandum on cooperation between Huawei and PJSC "Tatneft" was signed.
Signed by "Tatneft" and "Huawei" the document creates the basis for cooperation in the field of technology architecture, data processing centers, information and communication technologies, solving business problems in the area ICS, obtaining competencies for employees of "Tatneft" company in the field of the product line of Huawei IT-solutions, as well as joint cooperation in innovation spheres taking into account market needs, modern perspective requirements of a digital economy.
"China is a great partner with whom you want to keep pace. Today we have made two important steps to strengthening of our relations and joint development of regions and countries. The opening of the Research center, as well as the tandem of two giants "Tatneft” and "Huawei" will help to strengthen our cometences, pave the way for new innovation discoveries and markets, make digital technologies available both for business and consumers", - Taliya Minullina stated.
Mutually beneficial cooperation with the company has been conducted for more than 20 years. As the representatives of the company noted, Tatarstan has favourable conditions for development of new technologies, implementation of advanced solutions, new partnerships and such a fruitful partnership was built between "Huawei" company and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the spring 2018, a test site for the study of the connection of fifth generation of 5G technology, which will soon become a new standard, was organized and launched in Innopolis with the direct participation of "Huawei" company. During the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Kazan, Huawei equipment installed in the public places allowed the visitors of the city to use the connection with a heavy strain on a network comfortably. In partnership with local market players, the company has implemented many complex infrastructure projects, and this is just the beginning.
