Experts of venture capital have met in Kazan
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina participated in the XVI Russian and XI Kazan venture fair opening and plenary session.
In the framework of the event leading participants of venture industry, representatives of government, business, investment funds, science community and international experts discussed scenarios for industry development for the coming years. Perspectives of advanced technologies development in Russian regions were among issues for discussion.
Guests toured fair exposition with infrastructure for Tatarstan innovations support represented after opening ceremony. 55 innovative companies represented their own developments. Companies from Moscow, Kazan, Saint-Petersburg, Samara, Kaliningrad and other cities of Russia, as well as from Baku (Azerbaijan) participated in the fair this year. Industrial, oil and gas, medical, biotechnological, IT-projects and startups focusing at new materials were covered.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted at the plenary session that a long way was done in these 10-11 years. «Some interesting projects were represented in the course of the exposition during Russian and Kazan venture fairs. All these projects will be examined; I gave corresponding orders to my colleagues and ministers».
