Expert council of Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" approved projects totalling to 1 billion rubles

Today, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan held the second meeting of Expert board of special economic zone "Alabuga". Members of the Experts board, one of which is the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, took part in the meeting. The projects of new resident companies were considered. The total investment in the creation of new manufactures is 1 billion rubles.

The investment project of the first company implies construction of steel blanks production factory, the amount of total investment will comprise 350 million rubles. In turn, the second company offered the realization of the project on establishment of the factory producing flexible pumping and compression pipe, the total amount of investment is 640 million rubles.

"The main problem of an investor, as a rule, is in distribution of ready products, and success of the project directly depends on amount of orders, so in the case of these two projects the existence of clear list of customers and their interest in purchasing products produced is very important," - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina noted.

It is planned that in future, the projects will be referred for consideration to the supervisory council of SEZ "Alabuga" chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for a final decision to grant residential status.
