Close cooperation of Tatarstan and China

The cooperation between Tatarstan and China is growing rapidly and contributes to strengthening of Russian-Chinese relations. Today, Tatarstan is actively working with Chinese provinces within the regional group "Volga - Yangtze", which promotes increased interaction between Russian and Chinese regions. The Republic of Tatarstan is a part of this working group since 2014.

Tatarstan successfully collaborates with such Chinese provinces as Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Shandong, Hunan, Shenzhen, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Hebei, Anhui, Sichuan and others.

In particular, China National Chemical Engineering (CNCEC) proved to work well within the realization of the project "Ammoni" in Mendelyeevsk.

In addition, business relations with Chinese corporation "Haier", which established a refrigeration equipment production plant on the territory of Kama industrial park "Master", are moving in the right direction.

So today, on January 16, the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina had a meeting with the leadership of Hunan Sinda Elevator Company, China.

Chairman of the Board of the company Mr. Chen Meiliang told briefly about the company and plans on cooperation.

Hunan national company of intellectual equipment "Hunan Sinda Elevator Co." was established in May 2009. Company headquarters are located in the zone of technological and economic development of Changsha city, Hunan province, also the industrial bases are located in three provinces of China. The company is engaged in construction of buildings, production of high-tech elevators, escalators and construction of car parkings equipped with automatic systems. The share capital of the company is 103 million yuan. The overall sales volume in 2015 totaled in 500 million yuan. The company employs 600 people, including 96 employees involved in scientific research. Hunan Sinda Elevator Company is of interest to the Republic, while cooperation with companies with high scientific research capacities is prospective for Tatarstan.

This company is going to participate in realization of the project on construction of agricultural park on the territory of Laishevsky municipal district, where, in particular,  biological deep processing of grain at a rate of 300 thousand tons per year will be implemented. In addition to Hunan Sinda Elevator Company it is planned to involve two more partners from China, including financial. NGO "Agroservice" company is chosen to be the local partner-company in Tatarstan.

Concluding the meeting, the signing of cooperation agreement was held in the framework of implementation of investment project between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of Hunan Province, People's Republic of China (PRC).
