Business platform for contacts and contracts

On February, 27-28, the Russian Investment Forum Sochi-2017 was held. The official delegation of Tatarstan was headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. At the essential Russian business site the President was traditionally accompanied  by the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina. This year, the key theme of the Forum was "New projects for development". 

Two-days business program of the Forum included 27 events, the plenary session with participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev among them.

The structure of business program of the Russian Investment Forum consisted of three thematic clusters, such as: "New regional policy. Opportunities for development". In this track new approaches to stimulation of regional policy were considered, the assessment was given on results of the project approach to the implementation of priority projects in key areas of strategic development of the Russian Federation, functioning of the territories of advanced social-economic development, investment climate in the regions. Also discussions on the following topics were held: "Improving Business Performance:  Opportunities for Growth" and "Projects for Life".

In the framework of the business program, the meeting with the heads of subjects of Russia "Income in the regions, security and tax base" was held.

Also within the program "Round table", Taliya Minullina gave a presentation "Brand of Tatarstan as a competitive advantage of business", sharing basic instruments of promotion of the territory which are national peculiarities, good level of infrastructure and the living standard of the population.

The design of the stand of the Republic of Tatarstan is of special note.

As a part of the exposition the stand of Tatarstan, 160 square meters big, was designed in the style of "The year of ecology" in the Russian Federation. Floristic compositions, exclusive fountain as well as creative water activities were used in the design.

Taliya Minullina noticed: "Aesthetic effect is not that important for us, but the functionality of the stand is: it was eqipped with two meeting rooms and additional open negotiation area. We introduced a number of large projects including the building of a congress-exhibition complex "Kazan Expo", also the project of the group on preparations for the world skills excellence and development championship "Worldskills" was represented at our stand.

The separate part of the stand was dedicated to the unique site on the development of the relations between Russian regions and the countries of the organization of Islamic cooperation. Such site is called "Russia-Islamic world: KazanSummit". The forum is annually held in May in Tatarstan and is a part of a substantial workof the group of strategic vision "Russia - Islamic world" headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin."

Also prospective investment projects were exhibited at the stand of the Republic, including the main exhibitor  of Kama innovative territorial production cluster "Innokam" proposals, created with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and personal support of Dmitry Medvedev, who signed an order on foundation of the territory of advanced development in Naberezhnye Chelny in June 2016.

At the Sochi Forum, the Kamsky Center of Cluster Development of Tatarstan demonstrated the projects on engineering center of prototyping, automotive design, investment project on production of assembly set carriage bodies using a patent, project on development and implementation of small-scale production of the family of sport cars BARS, "Viking" automobile, the project of the car-battery factory, project on creation of research and development center for technology of heat treatment as well as project of production of composite mold casting from aluminium alloys for the needs of participants of industrial machine building cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan aimed at import substitution.

The agreement on trade-economic cooperation with Irkutsk and Tambov districts as well as the Karachay-Cherkess Republic were signed at the exhibition stand of Tatarstan.

In the framework of the Forum Taliya Minullina and the Director General of "ZaryaD" Ltd Ivan Savin presented new production of sporting equipment in Tatarstan - the first production of ice hockey sticks in Russia to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. Dmitry Medvedev accepted a present from Tatarstan, namely an ice hockey stick, by the way, produced by the resident of TASED "Naberezhnye Chelny".
