Thanks to the initiative of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the first time in IT-capital of Republic of the Tatarstan, the all-Russian Conference "Blockchain: New Russian oil" will be held. The event will bring top-managers and leaders of high-tech companies, representatives of government and developers, who will discuss actual challenges blockchain technologies bring to the world, alternative options of developing business scenarios in this direction, denote main trends and blockchain's perspectives, as well as the possibility of structural changes in the legislation, caused by new technology
Republic of Tatarstan keeps the status of economically developed subject of Russian Federation for many years, leading in business hospitality, in National rating on the investment climate, as well as in innovate development. Today IT-technology is among the priority directions of Tatarstan development in frameworks Strategy 2030. The region uses all modern information services to remain competitive in the future. Blockchain-conference will serve as an impetus for economy acceleration as a whole, simplification of public services mechanisms, effective maintenance of resources, increase in speed and transparency of financial and economic systems.

The key figure of the event is the world-famous Vitalik Buterin - The Man of the Year 2016 by the magazine Fortune, co-founder of the project Ethereum, whose idea in 2014 was awarded the World Technology Award, bypassing Mark Zuckerberg and other contenders. He will talk about the main realities of the development of the blockchain and also in the format of an open conversation will answer the questions of the conference participants. The Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov, as well as Member of the Supervisory Board of Ethereum Vladislav Martynov will also be present in the expert community of the upcoming event. The Hakaton which is a competition of startup projects based on blockchain technology will be held on the fields of the conference in several stages. The best project will be selected by Vitalik Buterin personally, and its developers will receive a cash prize of $ 5,000.
