Together with the Turkish manufacturer of special equipment Cukurova at Yelabuga plant created several models of excavators-loaders ELAZ-BL for the Russian and foreign markets. Turkish holding "Hayat", which includes Kastamonu, became one of the first residents of the SEZ Alabuga. The first phase of the woodworking plant producing MDF43 / HDF44 - wood boards and creating from them a rich collection of laminate flooring, was launched in 2014. The second phase - the plant for the production of MDF, flooring, furniture, and laminated panels - was opened in 2016. Now Kastamonu, which has already invested more than € 400 million in the Yelabuga project, is building the third phase - the production of OSB (oriented chipboard) - panels. About 80% of production is sold in Russia, 20% is exported to Asia and Eastern Europe. By the way, the raw materials - low-grade wood - are purchased by Kastamon in Tatarstan. Evolution of "Transit" 

 - The investment climate of Tatarstan remains stably favorable: for 5 years we have been in the top 3 of the federal rating, which determines its condition. The other is Ford Sollers Yelabuga, which is the basis for a special investment contract for the production of a new light commercial UAZ model range, as well as the development of new technologies, including telematics and unmanned vehicle control systems.

 Industry helps the city to develop. In 2018 Yelabuga entered the TOP 10 of the profile rating and took second place among 319 monocities of Russia, receiving high praise for creating jobs at enterprises that are not city-forming. Qualified specialists for high-tech industries are trained at the resource center, the local polytechnic college. 

 -In 6.5 thousand employees at enterprises that are residents of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone 3 thousand from Mendeleyevsky district, Udmurtia, and other neighboring districts and regions. The number of residents in our district is constantly growing. A recreation zone has been created near the Spassky Cathedral for the All-Russian Spassky Fair, which gathers hundreds of thousands of guests and hundreds of masters. And in 2018 Yelabuga won the federal competition of the Foundation for Small Cities Development and won 50 million rubles for the revitalization of the central city square. Citizens around the world chose the name, arguing about what historical period to consider more significant. They agreed on a compromise: the square will be named Khlebnaya, and the square will be named after Lenin. Such is he, the city of decisions, from which everyone benefits.
