 Reference. Arsky district is one of the largest in Tatarstan, is located in the northern part of the west side of the Kama River. It borders on the Republic of Mari El, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Vysokogorsky, Pestrechinsky, Sabinsky, and Tyulyachinsky districts. Population - more than 52.6 thousand people (92.2% Tatars, 6.6% Russians, 1.2% representatives of other nationalities). For the last two years, we have been organizing competitions of Tatar horses (except for purebred and half-bred horses - editor's note). We do a lot for their popularization. It is necessary to make that other breeders also wanted to take horses of our Tatar breed, - the constant guest of the holiday, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev told mass media. The seriousness of such intentions is confirmed at the republican level: the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan agricultural enterprises, farmers, individual entrepreneurs engaged in breeding of the Tatar breed of horses reimbursed 60% of the cost of purchasing horses of this breed. There are also plans to reimburse part of the cost of breeding the breeding stock - 20 thousand rubles per head. The breed is registered in the state register. Today more than 400 horses of Tatar breed are registered in the republic.

One of the largest by area is located in the village of Lower Aty. Its owner, Damir Haliullin, is distinguished not only by his exceptional diligence and integrity but also by his desire to try and find new interesting agricultural solutions.

- Salted cucumber should be small and crispy, - explains the farmer to journalists. Cucumber pickles in barrels in industrial volumes (the farm is ready to sell up to 100 tons of salted cucumbers per month) is a kind of diversification of the main direction, the know-how that Haliullin learned from his colleagues from Chuvash Republic. In his time, the farmer traveled a lot on different domestic farms, studied the experience, figured out how it can be applied in the Tatarstan climate. Now the area of his greenhouses reaches 7 hectares. Most of it is heated. From one hectare Damir Haliullin receives about 100 tons of cucumbers and about 120 tons of tomatoes. Besides, he grows cabbage and strawberries. During the season, plantations on the open ground are added to the greenhouse plantings. The farm employs about 100 workers.

 For the Arsky district, the agricultural sector is the key one. Therefore, agricultural production and processing were chosen as the main directions of the Arsky industrial park, located close to the city. The area of the park is 21 hectares and it is designed for 20 residents. On the south side are the railroads and highway connecting the city with the federal highway R-242 "Kazan - Perm - Ekaterinburg".  One of the main objects of the potential tourist route in Arsky district is the museum of Gabudlla Tukay, Tatarstan's favorite national poet, in the village of Novy Kyrlai. Born in another Arsk village Koshlauch, Tukay spent several years of his childhood in picturesque Kyrlai. It is said that it was here, on the bank of a small river under the shadow of shady trees, among the tall herbs, that the poet came up with images of national folk heroes, which conquered readers around the world.
