The plant produces 40 million bricks per year, sells them for 259 million rubles, and pays the local budget more than 10 million in taxes. Recently opened a new direction - began to produce hand-formed bricks, under the old days, for a special finishing of buildings. Demand for it is high, so there is a chance that soon the buildings from the brandedbricks Alexeyevskogo will stand throughout the country.

 If a craftswoman had found it and would have thought to weave the most complex pattern of life of all man-made beauty in the Alexeevsky region, the edging of this wonderful carpet would be the multicolor of crafts and trades, for which this land was famous. This is how we can say about the Udarnitsa Artel, the grandmother of the modern art weaving factory, founded in August 1927 in the former merchant's house. That's when the first weaving machine appeared in the production. Now hand weaving in the form of exotic preserved only at a few enterprises in Russia, one of which is the Alexeyevskaya factory of artistic weaving. The raw material for the production of patterned weaving products is cotton and linen yarn. Today, the modern light industry offers a wide range of fabrics, canvases from all kinds of materials. Machines and mechanisms pushed back a manual wooden machine. But when you come to the Alexeyevskaya factory of art weaving, you are involuntarily surprised by the still preserved craft. And today, in two workshops of the factory knock all the same wooden machines. And despite all innovations, the weavers of the factory do one thing - keep the handmade patterned weaving. The enterprise constantly participates in exhibitions held by the Republic of Tatarstan, also outside the Republic. The enterprise exhibited its production in France, Germany. The works of the team are marked with diplomas and certificates. Woven souvenirs create warmth and comfort in any interior. The factory assortment expands and is updated every year. Ancient canvases are reproduced based on museum samples, patterns are restored, various interlacing is revived, and new weaving methods are invented. There are more than one hundred kinds of towels, towels13, tablecloths, napkins, countertops, and drapes in the company's funds. Products of the factory are brightly packaged; gift sets will suit any buyer. Visit the Alexeyevskaya factory of art weaving, watch the creation of fabric, admire the noble simplicity of products, listen to the tapping of the shuttle14 - and you will feel what warmth of soul is created by handweaving products.

The third branded “product” of the district, unlike bricks, cannot be multiplied and exported, but you can enjoy it when you come to Alexeyevskoye in early summer. The bell-ringing festival was born in the village the same year when the first bell ringer was installed in the Resurrection Church. It has been 16 years, every year thousands of guests come to Alekseevsky Сhimes - to listen to the bell melodies from the famous Russian bell ringers, to sing and  dance with folklore ensembles, to buy at the fair something delicious from the district farmers or something beautiful from local artisans. And the intricate bell chimes float above the ground, filling hearts with joy... 

 But for real grace, as well as blessing and energy, one must go to another place in the district, to Bilyarsk.

 How to fulfill wishes and attract tourists

 The largest village of Alekseevsky district Bilyarsk - a place of power. At least, this is the opinion of locals and endless streams of pilgrims - Orthodox, Muslim and pagan. Here, at the foot of the Khuzhalar Tava Mountain, there is the “Holy spring” - an ancient place of prayer and worship, a kind of spiritual center for Russians, Tatars, Chuvash, and Mari people. The tract is perfectly arranged, there are places for prayer, water pouring, picnic grounds, and places for sacrifices. There are always many visitors, on weekdays and holidays. Those who do not pray, but also want to join "something like this," can climb 444 steps in the mountain, to make a cherished dream and go around the Black Stone of Wishes seven times (in fact - just a memorable sign made of marble) - should come true.

 Not far from the “Holy spring” - the place of “pilgrimage” of atheists and lovers of historical ruins - Bilyarsk hill fort. These are the remains of the medieval town of Bilyar, which was burned and looted in the early XIII century during the Mongol invasion. The city was huge, about 600 hectares, with many stone and brick buildings, mosques, shopping rows, warehouses, baths, and even with a heating system. But there are far fewer visitors than at the source - it is not interesting to look at the stones in the field. However, if you go to the local Museum of History and Archaeology, the guide's stories and his fantasy will help you revive the Great City in your imagination.

 Bilyarsk needs serious financial injections to attract as many tourists as it does in Bulgaria or Sviyazhsk. “Bilyarsk fortified settlement - an object of federal importance and needs further improvement, to create around it a unified historical and cultural environment, in the development of tourist infrastructure, which will attract hundreds of thousands of guests. There are great opportunities for the deployment of service business, to attract long-term investment funds, which, though not quickly, but certainly will pay off,” - said the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Talia Minullina.

 It would be good to continue excavations (even though they began 100 years ago, archaeologists have a lot of work to do here). It is necessary to reconstruct several iconic buildings of Bilyar, for example, a typical manor house, where you can recreate the life and medieval way of life of citizens. It is necessary to expand the local museum's area, arrange a historical diorama, and make it interactive. In short, the amount of investment is not a joke and it is obvious that there is no need for state assistance. But private investors may also be interested in Bilyarsk hill fort as an opportunity to launch a tourist service business. Here you need cafes, restaurants, hotels, entertainment areas for children (because car tourists come to Bilyarsk families!), rental agencies, souvenir shops, and so on, to infinity.

 The Alexeyev authorities must understand this very well and are ready to help all investors who are interested in doing business in the district. And there is no doubt that it will be successful. The place here is so entrepreneurial.

Alexander Butlerov, the creator of the theory of the chemical structure of organic matter, was born in the village of Butlerovka in 1828 Alexander Arbuzov, the founder of the Kazan chemical school of organophosphorus, was born in the village of Arbuzov-Baran in 1877
