The Tatarstan Investment Development Agency widens cooperation with the Far East.


On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a cooperation
agreement on Investment and Export Promotion has been signed by the Tatarstan
Investment Development Agency and the Far East Agency.

"Tatarstan is interested in strengthening of multiregional ties. Tatarstan and the Far East have lots in common, including the active territories of social and economic advancement, and also dynamically developing relations with Asia countries, principally with China, that ranks among TOP-5 investors in Tatarstan,"-shared Taliya Minullina, the Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

The action plan according to the agreement considers an information exchange, sharing experiences on attraction and implementation of investment projects, business-missions organization, helping along with the investment projects implementation within the territory of the agreement parties.

"We work hard in glove with regions in order for the best practices on investment promotions to be brought to the Far East. We aim at looking into the matter of the regions experience, which shows advanced achievements in the positive investment environment building, and getting attention of the Russian and foreign investors," commented Leonid Petukhov, a Director General of the Far East Agency for Investment and Export Promotion.
