Rustam Minnikhanov to representatives of the business community of Germany: We are interested in implementation of joint projects

On June 11, on the sidelines of the international exhibition of petrochemical equipment ACHEMA-2018 in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of the business community of Germany.

Minnikhanov thanked for the invitation to the exhibition, noting that such events contribute to the further development of business cooperation between business circles of Tatarstan and Germany as part of Russian-German relations.

“We are very grateful to the leadership of our countries. Despite all the disagreements on a number of political issues, we have a great opportunity to run a business and cooperate at the regional level. We were glad to receive the invitation to visit the ACHEMA-2018 - one of the most popular and well-known venues in our industry,” Minnikhanov noted.

He said that the representatives of regional ministries and agencies, as well as heads of leading oil and petrochemical enterprises of the republic are the members of Tatarstan delegation.

Consul General of Russia in Frankfurt am Main Alexander Bulai added that in these challenging times, it is necessary to make joint steps to expand economic cooperation between Russia and Germany.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov told the meeting about the industrial and investment potential of the republic.

Representatives of the business community of Germany briefed about their companies and promising areas for developing cooperation with Tatarstan in the field of petrochemistry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and automation of technological processes.
