Rustam Minnikhanov discusses with senior executives of 3M Russia Company the issues of further development of cooperation

On July 19, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of 3M Russia Company headed by its Director General Mats Friberg.

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov said that the company has the experience of successful cooperation with the republic.

In his turn, Friberg said that Tatarstan is a significant partner for many international companies and has positively proven itself in the issues of interaction.

Friberg thanked Minnikhanov for his personal participation in the development of many projects, for his help in the launching of the production facilities.

The plant of anti-corrosive liquid coatings “3M Volga” was opened at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in October, 2015. Investments in this project amounted to one billion roubles.

New materials are manufactured here, including polyurethane anticorrosive coating for gas distribution pipelines, since the first quarter of 2018.

Friberg said that this is his first visit to Tatarstan, and expressed his confidence that he will visit the region again and again.

He also noted that the company could quickly establish the work with Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus and this gives an opportunity to explore and develop the market much more efficiently.

3М Company manufactures products for health, electronics and energy, security and industry and produces consumer goods.
