India visiting Tatarstan

Relations between Russia and India are based on strong tradition of friendship and mutual respect, and develop in the spirit of strategic partnership. This was stated by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov during the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation Mr. Pankaj Saran. The event was attended by the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the questions of further cooperation in the areas of mutual concern.

It is worth mentioning that next year, Russia and India will celebrate 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

"There are no large investment projects with India so far. But three projects from this delegation are under development: these are assembly of tractors, ideas on production of food. There is also an infrastructure project for street lighting, it is in the development since September 2016. Let's see if we can work something out", the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency stated.
