Convention Bureau presented Tatarstan at the EIBTM WORLD-2017 exhibition
The Convention Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan presented the republic at the «RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD» stand at the international exhibition of EIBTM WORLD — 2017 award trip and business journeys. The event was held on November 28-30 in Spanish Barcelona.
In the frames of exhibition’s program, over 50 meetings with buyers interested in holding events in Tatarstan took place. The presentations of the Republic of Tatarstan were held and the prize drawing by Korston Club Hotel Kazan was organized. Also, in the frames of Visit Russia presentation, the host cities of FIFA World Cup 2018 were presented to both corporate clients and personally for Spanish touristic companies. Tatarstan was represented at the exhibition by the head of the Convention Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan Ivan Kadoshnikov.
Deputy Head of Rostourism Nikolay Korolev made a presentation in Barcelona, the Council General of the Russian Federation in Barcelona Yuri Klimenko attended the exhibition.
The EIBTM exhibition is held annually since 1988 as the primary tourists forum the theme of which is organization of conferences, seminars and business meetings, corporate tourism and special events. Holding the exhibition of «Professional Shopper» program is aimed at the establishment of direct business relations and expanding cooperation between companies specialized in this area.
It should be mentioned that on November 14 the presentation of Convention Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan — a new instrument for investments attraction by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency — took place in Kazan. The Convention Bureau will assist partners and potential investors in holding large forums, conferences, and business events in Kazan.
