The first golf business tournament «TIDA Golf Challenge 2018» is completed

On September 4-6 2018, a business-mission in the Republic of Tatarstan «TIDA Golf Challenge 2018» was held. The friendly atmosphere of the sports event and the healthy spirit of competition helped to establish new business conacts and unite the participants from Russia and Finland.

The organizers of «TIDA Golf Challenge 2018» are "TIM" advisory group and the Russian National team supporters club "Russia Unites" powered by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

In the frames of the program, the participants visited the IT-city of Innopolis and played an amateur golf-tournament. A breath of inspiration for the Finnish guests was a visit to the Unified Presentation Center of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where they not only got acquainted with the investment and economic potential of the republic, but also enjoyed national peculiarities of the region.

The winner of the two-day golf-tournament is Markku Nylund, Managing Director and Co-owner of "Tackla" company, a well-known producer of hockey-ammunition and passive safety means for sportsmen.

"This is our first visit to Tatarstan and we are really charmed. Our aim was to become familiar with investment infrastructure of the region, see the new city of Innopolis, establish contacts with the Russian enterprises working in our field. We couldn't resist the opportunity to try out "Kazan" golf-club course and it exceeded our expectations. Two rounds of 18 holes games passed on a single breath. And the quality of the field and gorgeous views of the Volga River Valley made our stay in Sviyaga Hills unforgettable", the winner of the tournament Markku Nylund shared his impressions.

The President of the Russian National team supporters club "Russia Unites" Eduard Latypov highlighted the importance of joint activities in the sphere of "business and sport".

"Golf tournament will continue a series of business-events held in Tatarstan and dedicated to sport. In addition to business-program and golf we visited the match of Ak Bars hockey club, the three-time winner and holder of the Gagarin Cup. We thank Tatarstan Investment Development Agency for support of our events, it always is a pleasure to receive a positive feedback from the participants on the excellent arrangements of the event. We continue the work of the fan business club, our joint project with the all-Russian public organization of the entrepreneurs "Business Russia", - Eduard Latypov said.

Entrepreneurs, potential investors from Russia and different countries of the world - took part in the football tournament, received detailed information on investment opportunities in Tatarstan, unique working conditions in the republic and promising niches and projects that can be implemented in the region. «TIDA Golf Challenge 2018» became the second event in this concept, and I'm sure not the last!", - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina commented.
