The Saudi Arabia business community touched "the Treasures of Tatarstan"

"Tatarstan - Saudi Arabia" business-forum became the final chord of the chain of business-meetings made by the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event was held in Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah.

The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took an active part in the forum.

The participants from Saudi Arabia were the representatives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jeddah, as well as the biggest businessmen, including Mohammad Turkistany, the CEO of Rowad Alamal (firefighting systems), Maha Halawani, the Chairman of TiBR Al Arab (food production), Nayla Al Otaibi, Executive Director of United Rama Company (Trade company), Mohammed Al Hashdi, the CEO of Petromin Lubricants (production and processing of petrochemical products) and others.

It is logical that Arabic business community is interested in economic potential of the republic. The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the leading regions of Russian Federation and for the second year in the row takes the 1 place in the rating of investment attractiveness among other Russian regions.

During the forum, the video "The Treasures of Tatarstan" in Arabic, reflecting rich history and culture, as well as the advantages and possibilities of the region, was demonstrated to the participants The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina gave a presentation on investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan with particular regard to the upcoming International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic World: KazanSummit 2017”, to be held on May 18-20, 2017, and invited all the participants to take part in this important international event.

The forum was focused on bilateral meetings in the format of individual negotiations. The parties exchanged contacts and outlined the most priority areas for further cooperation.
