Tatarstan’s producers of medical equipment will receive benefits for import-substituting projects

Tatarstan’s industrial cluster of manufacturers of medical instruments and medical equipment is included in the federal register of industrial clusters. This will allow the cluster’s members to reimburse up to 50% of the costs related to implementation of joint investment projects aimed at import substitution.

The order was signed on March 27, 2018.

The initiator of cluster creation was "Kazan Medical Instruments Plant". LLC "Plant “Elastic", CJSC "ZDRAVMEDTECH-POVOLJYE", "ELEPS" Scientific & Production Company, LLC "Instrmed", "Medicon" Scientific & Production Company, LLC "Endomedium +" and other companies, performing full cycle of works on development, introduction, production and implementation of high-tech products of medical purposes became its participants.

Educational and scientific-technical cooperation within the cluster is provided by Kazan State Medical University, JSC "Kazan Research Institute of Aviation Technologies" and JSC "Regional Engineering Center of Medical Simulators "Center of Medical Science".
