SPIEF is considered to be very advantageous for Tatarstan because of 26 official agreements and 2 000 handshakes


The delegation of Tatarstan chaired by the President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

SPIEF is a top platform for public authorities and the business world to team up in order to discuss the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world. The main topic this year is "Forming a sustainable development agenda".

In order to present the investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan an exhibition display has been arranged at the Forum in pavilion G, where the largest enterprises and projects of the republic are presented: Pharmmedpolis, the Mechanical Engineering Cluster, the WorldSkills 2019 Professional Skills Tournament and many others.

"This Forum is very special for Tatarstan. We are about to sign 26 cooperation agreements. This platform offers possibilities to meet our working partners and find new business contacts, investors in order to germ new joint ideas. Nowadays the Republic of Tatarstan is the most attractive region for investors. Mechanical engineering, petrochemical and agricultural industries are well-developed. From viewpoint of the international environment development, this is a region, where it is developed by international airports, schools, universities including the only one IT-University in Russia at the moment, where all the faculties are narrow-focused, and more than 70% of the teachers are representatives from foreign countries, is located in Tatarstan."

We invite everybody to work cooperatively. The republic is an ideal market entry point in Russia and elsewhere in CIS. We have established partnership relations with countries worldwide. 155 countries are our trade partners," said Taliya Minullina, the Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, who held talks on the sidelines of the Forum on partnership forming-up with multinational companies from different fields.
