Plan for implementation of joint projects with Uzbekistan was signed

In the frames of the First Forum of Interregional cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tashkent Region Khokimiyat signed the action plan of measures for the realization of the Agreement on the implementation of international and foreign economic relations in the trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural spheres.


During the meeting, the heads of the regions discussed specific joint projects, including the establishment of an automobile testing ground and KAMAZ service centre, a branch of the Himgrad Technopolis, as well as the establishment of joint production facilities with Ak Bars Holding Company in the poultry industry, manufacturing of medical robots together with Eidos Company, interaction with TATNEFT Oil Company and cooperation with Tatspirtprom Distillery, the opening of mutual trading houses and the exchange of experience in the field of education, health care and housing and communal services in the Tashkent region.

"Tatarstan and Uzbekistan maintain a long-standing relationship. Interaction of the regions is carried out systematically and is affecting all spheres. Transportation is developing. I'm sure, the openness of the two parties, permanent governmental dialogue, resources and experience will implement all our plans", – the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina believes.

In turn, members of Uzbekistan Government regularly emphasize that the Uzbek-Tatarstan cooperation is one of their priorities.
