Ondynsyn Urazalin stands for developing relations with Tatarstan

Delegation of the Aktobe Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by akim Ondynsyn Urazalin, assessed the investment climate of Tatarstan. Taliya Minullina, the Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, proposed directions for developing interregional cooperation.

“I am delighted to greet you in the Republic of Tatarstan! We have a lot in common with the Aktobe Region from the viewpoint of economy and industry, where we can develop efficient cooperation. We are ready to build investment relations with your colleagues under your guidance!” Taliya Ilgizovna greeted the guests.

Taliya Minullina started with a colorful presentation at the Tatarstan Common Presentation Center, which is located at the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

“Tatarstan is an industrial region; the leading economic sectors are oil extracting and processing. The Republic’s resources and products are well known abroad. Our trading partners are 155 countries of the world.

Tatarstan developed the best investment infrastructure in Russia. We have 85 industrial parks, the largest number of zones with federal tax benefits in the country: these are 2 special economic zones and 5 territories of advanced social-economic development.

The Republic creates favorable conditions for transition to digital economy. Innopolis is the first Russian city with a special economic zone, created for IT specialists”, said Taliya Ilgizovna.

Kazakhstan is traditionally one of the leading trading and economic partners of our Republic.

“Thank you very much for the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of Tatarstan. It is an interesting experience. The tasks you set for yourself are topical for any region which is aimed at going forward, increasing the budget incomes, especially in terms of investment activity. For us it is a good experience. It is also good for our future joint activity; I think it will further strengthen our links. We already have good contacts here, they should be expanded”, thanked Ondynsyn Urazalin.

The relations between our Republics started to be rapidly developed as early as in 1996, when and intergovernmental treaty was signed, which stipulated the principles of trade, economic, cultural, educational, and tourist cooperation.

Today, strengthening of the economic ties and broadening of the investment cooperation was officially confirmed by signing the documents providing development of joint programs and enhancing the mutually beneficial business interaction.
