Improving investment climate of the republic we increase our country's economy!

Nowadays, development of small and medium-sized businesses is a key-factor of economic growth. This work, together with enhancement of investment attractiveness and reduction of administrative barriers is outlined in the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030.

"Road maps", being realized jointly with Agency for Strategic Initiatives and aimed at reduction of administrative barriers in different spheres of business, played an important role in creating attractive business sphere.

In Tatarstan, in addition to the specialized authority as Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, necessary institutional environment is formed, including Investment Council under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Council on Entrepreneurship under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Economic Council, Project Office. The work of these institutions is aimed at achievement of decisions to tackle systemic issues of business development, reducing administrative barriers, as well as implementation of best practices.

In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, starting this year, the Project Office is working on implementation of "road maps" to achieve the values of target models, simplify business procedures and enhance investment attractiveness.

So today, on March 22, Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy of the Russian Federation to Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich paid a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.

In Kazan, Mikhail Babich held a meeting of the Commission on improving the investment climate, reducing administrative barriers and developing small and medium-sized businesses in the Volga Federal District.  The participants of the meeting discussed the issues related to simplifying business procedures, enhancing investment attractiveness of Russian regions and supporting specific business initiatives.

Director General of the "Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the promotion of new projects" Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General - Chairman of the Executive Board of the "Federal Corporation for Small and Middle-Sized Entrepreneurship Development" Alexander Braverman, as well as the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in the meeting.

At the meeting, the questions of implementation of federal "road maps" of National entrepreneurial initiative, as well as "road maps" on introduction of goal-oriented models on simplification of business procedures and enhancement of investment attractiveness of Russian regions, measures aimed at development of small and medium-sized businesses and support of specific business initiatives implemented at federal and regional levels, were discussed.

Also today, Svetlana Chupsheva visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where Taliya Minullina presented operating exposition of achievements of the republic in the sphere of investment.

"Tatarstan is at the top of Federal investment rating, continuing to work actively to improve business environment. Continuing support of investors is a great responsibility for us. They either reinvest and invite their partners, or leave forever" - Taliya Minullina commented.
