Herbs in Chistopol, jam in Naberezhnye Chelny. Five projects were approved at the meeting of Investment Council of Tatarstan
On December 27, 2018, the final joint meeting of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Commission of applications for the conclusion of agreements on the implementation of activities on the territory of "Naberezhnye Chelny", "Chistopol" and "Nizhnekamsk" Advanced Development Zones was held in the Republican House of Government chaired by the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
Two projects were submitted for the status of the resident and receiving a land plot lease without tendering to the ADZ "Chistopol" commission. The first one - the construction of the meat processing plant - is planned to be implemented by the Chinese entrepreneur Zou Minfeng. Processing, freezing and packing of pork by-products will be carried out in the shop. Chelny company "Kama bacon" should become one of the suppliers of raw materials. Investments in the project will amount to about 63,3 million rubles, quantity of staff is estimated in 50 people. The supplies of finished products (about 3 thousand tons per year) will be carried out in Hong Kong.
The second Chistopol project was presented by Tatarstan’s company "Technology of success". The growing trend of healthy nutrition, increasing urbanization, year-round demand for herbs and lack of sufficient local production - all these are significant preconditions for construction of greenhouse complex of the territory of adz "Chistopol". The cost of the project is about 60,5 million rubles. The company plans to specialize in growing herbs - parsley, fennel, arugula, iceberg lettuce, etc.
An application for obtaining a land plot for rent without tendering was presented by the owners of "Darletto" Ltd. The company plans to open its own factory for the manufacture of confectionery fillings - thermostable jams. The design capacity of the plant is 12,6 thousand tons per year.
The project of the local company "Orgneftekhim-Stroy", a member of "Orgneftekhim – holding" group of companies, was presented to the commission of ADZ "Nizhnekamsk". Obtaining ADZ resident status, the enterprise plans to start manufacturing the painted pipe assemblies and metal structures for installation of technological pipelines. The cost of the project is 81,1 million rubles.
The Chelny Metal Structures Plant "Metline" submitted an application for the residence of ADZ "Naberezhnye Chelny" with the intention of opening the production of industrial steel structures for construction. The cost of the project is about 87,6 million rubles. A branch of the Chinese National chemical engineering construction company №7 is among the potential consumers of finished products.
All the presented projects were approved.
"The emergence of new residents and the expansion of production shows that the conditions offered by our ADZs are interesting for investors, and the territories themselves have a favorable location and infrastructure attractive for business. In addition, new applications for settlement at the ADZ show that our efforts on promotion of these territories, including among foreign companies, give a positive result", - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina believes.
