The XIth International economic summit “Russia – Islamic world: KazanSummit 2019» will be held on April 25-29, 2019.
From year to year the summit proves to be an effective platform for searching new clients and business partners in Islamic countries and for demonstration of investment and economic potential for regions of Russia. For 10 years already the summit in Kazan attracts representatives of international organizations, governmental bodies, financial institutions, embassies, parliaments, leading investors and businessmen, top-managers of the Russian and foreign companies. The summit gained a reputation of successful platform for new contacts and as an aid for presentation of economic opportunities and investment potential of the country. The event is held in the framework of the Group of strategic vision “Russia – Islamic world” activities chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The plenary session “Russia – Islamic world: strategic partnership of the third decade” will open the coming summit. In the program such traditional issues as Islamic finance and partnership banking, IT startups, blockchain technologies, export, social responsibility of business, public diplomacy will be raised along the others.
The Russian-Indonesian business forum will take place for the first time. This was agreed during the visit of the Ambassador of Indonesia in Russia Wahid Supriyadi to Kazan on October 1, 2018. At the summit leaders of the Russian and Indonesian institutions will discuss new vectors of cooperation, as well as mutual projects. Also Indonesian companies will exhibit at the corresponding part of the summit.
The international exhibition Russia Halal Expo will take place for the third time already. In 2018 the exhibition united 72 exponents from 20 regions of Russia and 7 countries.
