THE Research Excellence Summit: Eurasia 2018
This year Kazan will host Research Excellence Summit by Times Higher Education - the world's leading publication, which for half a century specializes in the study and coverage of the most pressing issues of higher education development worldwide.
250 delegates from different countries and about 30 world-class speakers will participate in the forthcoming event.
The main task of the Summit is gathering the heads of higher education and science institutions, representatives of government, business and the expert community in order to discuss the problems of higher education and ways to overcome them, as well as to determine the vector and mechanisms of sustainable development of world-class universities.
At the summit, Times Higher Education will also publish, exclusively, the first-ever THE ranking focused on Eurasia nations. The list of countries in Eastern Europe and Central and Western Asia with universities eligible to be ranked includes Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
